My name is Tanya Shiosaki and I have been on staff at WPC for over five years. I have the incredible privilege of not only teaching children about Jesus, but encouraging them to grow in their personal relationship with Him daily! It is the desire of the Children’s Staff team that all children would feel welcome, accepted and to be introduced to Jesus through our words and actions.
My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 18 years and we have three beautiful children. Mia(15), Arin(13), and Jenna(11). They have filled our home and lives with much joy and continue to do so.
One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” All children need to know that they have a Heavenly Father who loves them so incredibly much and that He has plans for their future. I thank God for the opportunity and privilege He has given me to help make a difference in the life of a child. It is a responsibility that I do not take lightly!
